Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
PersonalizedTouch ("the App", "we", "us") is an Android application offering AI-assisted beauty, health, and mindfulness tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
To use certain features, you create an account using one of the following methods:
- Email and password, handled through Firebase Authentication.
- Sign in with Google, handled through Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication. When you choose this option, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture URL as provided by your Google account, solely to create and identify your account. We do not request or access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or any other Google service or data beyond basic profile identification. You can review or revoke the App's access at any time from your Google Account's security settings.
1.2 Health & Wellness Profile Information
To personalize recommendations, you may voluntarily enter information such as skin type, age, food allergies, and medications. This information is stored on your device and, where account sync is required for the feature to function (for example, applying it to an AI safety check), is transmitted securely and used only for that purpose. We treat this as sensitive information and do not use it for advertising.
1.3 Camera & Photos
The App's beauty analysis feature uses your device camera to capture a photo, which is sent to Google's Gemini AI model for a one-time skin analysis and is not permanently stored on our servers. A history of your scans and results is kept locally on your device so you can review past results; you can delete this history at any time from within the App.
1.4 Food & Nutrition Log
Food log entries and product scan history you create are stored locally on your device in an on-device database and are not uploaded to our servers, except for a monthly usage counter used to enforce fair-use limits on AI features.
1.5 Automatically Collected Information
- Crash and diagnostic data via Firebase Crashlytics, to help us identify and fix bugs. This data does not include your personal health information.
- Push notification token via Firebase Cloud Messaging, so the App can deliver reminders and updates to your device.
- Advertising identifier, only if you choose to watch a rewarded ad to unlock certain mindfulness sessions, via Google AdMob.
2. How We Use Information
- To create and secure your account and sync your preferences across sessions.
- To generate AI-based beauty, nutrition-safety, and mindfulness recommendations relevant to you.
- To enforce fair-use limits on AI-powered features.
- To diagnose crashes and improve the App's stability and performance.
- To deliver optional push notifications and, if applicable, rewarded ads.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health, allergy, or medication information for advertising or marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following third-party services to function. Each processes limited data strictly as needed to provide its service, under its own privacy terms:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging) — account, sync, and diagnostic infrastructure.
- Google Gemini / Vertex AI — processes photos and text you submit to generate beauty analysis, nutrition-safety checks, and personalized wellness content.
- Google Cloud Text-to-Speech — converts text into the App's guided-audio sessions.
- Google AdMob — serves optional rewarded video ads.
- Google Sign-In — optional account authentication method.
- Open Food Facts — a public, open food database queried for product nutrition data; no personal information is sent with these queries.
Certain mindfulness audio features run entirely on your device using on-device speech synthesis, meaning no text is sent to any server for those specific sessions.
4. Data Storage & Retention
Health, food-log, and scan-history data is stored locally on your device wherever possible. Account and sync data is stored securely using Firebase infrastructure. We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the App's features or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (Section 8).
5. Your Choices & Rights
- You may edit or delete your health profile, food log, and scan history directly within the App.
- You may sign out or delete your account at any time.
- You may disable notifications and camera access through your device settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or erase your personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone below the minimum age of consent for data processing in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures, including those provided by Firebase and Google Cloud, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
10. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws applicable in the developer's home jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, to the extent permitted by applicable local law.
